Google Maps Not Working

Hi,

I just paid for Google Maps (also track loading), changed the map settings from OSM to Google and redisplayed the map.
The Google map shows up but my preloaded track URL does not display.
When I switch back to OSM the track displays just fine.

Any solution or suggestions?

If I incurred any charges for Google Maps while testing this please issue a credit

Hi,
There was a problem with Google Maps but it should be fixed now. I'm not sure but maybe this was the reason of your problem. Could you please test if it is working now?

Not working yet. The overlay is not showing up with google maps.

It works for me - I tested in Safari and Chrome. Have you checked if you have configured the URL in your settings correctly?

kml url 1 is what i showed above. Both checkboxes are checked

What and where are the other settings that should be should be set?

Why would it work in OSM and not in google?

I never had this problem before the changeover to OSM.

OK, seems problem was related that Google was the default map. Can you please check again?

If I understand you correctly you use Google Maps for navigation. This is out of scope of Greenalp, so I cannot solve the problem for you. One reason could be that maybe your GPS is inaccurate and there Google cannot navigate well. Have you checked if it works better with a different device?

Soory that I missed your last reply. No, I don't use Google maps for navigation. I use my Gramin 590 for navigating. I create a map file in BaseCamp and load that into my GPS. I also create a KML file from BaseCamp and load that up to Greenalp as an overlay on the map track.
