Galaxy S1 no plan

Hi installed the app on my old Galaxy S1 that does not have a plan associated with it (wi-fi only now)/ It did show the correct location (home) when I installed, but now I think I'm looking at old data, cuz I don't see the correct location of the phone on the map. The GPS is on, on the phone. Are their additional settings that I need to configure for the app to work properly and to work when the phone goes into sleep mode?

actually it is not necessary to confiure additional settings. Does the problem still exist? Can you check the GPS signal? How many yellow satellite bars are displayed on the app screen? Which accuracy is reported?
